wp_objectives:
The objective of this WP is the development of an operational S5 total BrO column product.

wp_methodology:
DOAS
- (BIRA) Set-up and improvement of BrO slant column fit for S5, taking into account the specific radiometric, spectral and spatial characteristics of the S5 instrument

AMF/VCD calculation
- (BIRA) Adaptation of the AMF calculation scheme to account for the S5 geometry, spatial resolution and equator crossing-time
- (BIRA) Update of the auxiliary data bases (albedo, a-priori profiles,...) to account for the S5 specificities
- (DLR) Algorithm adaptation to S5 (based on existing GOME-2 scheme)

- (DLR) UPAS implementation
