wp_objectives:
The objective of this work package is to develop and upgrade the existing validation web service system (http://cdop.aeronomie.be) to include:
- Near-to-real time monitoring of the quality of the satellite data using preliminary near-to-real time ground-based data from selected stations (link with NDACC and NORS Rapid Delivery databases) and  trace gases columns climatologies from satellites
- Continuous update and upgrade of the validation web services throughout the length of the GOME-2/Metop-B/C mission to also include novel features such as the direct intercomparison of the two missions, joint time-series, overlapping regions, etc.

wp_methodology:
